Impact of EKM
1985 Australian Gospel Music Conference – New South Wales University. This Vision of 600 delegates showed the ‘Power of Corporate Worship.’ Musicians Training in Fundamentals.
Motivating Word of the Lord:
“If any man asks of you, tell them ‘The Lord hath need of it.’”
1986 Australian Gospel Music Conference – Horden Pavilion.
Australia-wide, The Power of Praise came from 3,500 delegates.
Motivating Word of the Lord:
“You can now give it to them. They can do it.”
* HILLSONG began.
1987 South Pacific Music Conference – Suva – Fiji National Stadium.
The booking of the Stadium, Laucala Bay Secondary School, and the National Gymnasium saw the Body of Christ and Communities at large combined to sing Praises to the Lord.
Motivation: Special song written for the Nation of Fiji: PEACE AND HARMONY.
This song was used to curb the first coup ever to touch the country of Fiji. The 70 Australian Tutors were used to teach during the day to cater for thousands of children unable to go to school through the effects of the coup. Whilst evening programs were strictly Evangelism as the answer to the National Need for Order.
1990 – The years that followed EKM saw a calling to go to other nations taking the Gospel of Christ to as many nations as possible.
2000 – The millennium brought a new era of ministry for EKM, whereby local churches received renewal. People were born again, Holy Ghost filled saints, set up or structured of Music Departments and pulled down strongholds through Esther King Music.
Motivation: ‘Exchange – The Garment of Praise for the Spirit of Heaviness.’
This is the time to come and exchange:
the Garment of Praise – for The spirit of heaviness.
the Crown of Everlasting Joy – upon your Heads.
the Oil of Joy for Mourning -and Gladness to overtake you.
Jesus wants to take away your robes of mourning – and replace them with
Robes of Dancing.
